Target Audience – Who are your intended customers? Will your site be for the general public?  Is there a certain niche group that will view your site such as professionals, photographers, or artists?   Do want to sell merchandise on your website?

Site Plan – How will the information be organized? How many categories? How many pages? (i.e. Home page, About Us, Contact, etc.)

Content – Do you have text for your website? You may already have existing text that you can pull from brochures, flyers or other marketing materials.

Design Preference – Do you already have a logo? Do you have a color preference? Are there other websites that you like? When browsing, try to keep a list of other sites that you like and try to note what it is it that you like about them.

Animation & Interactivity – Do you want any animation included in the website? Do you want a contact form? Do you want to sell products with a shopping cart?
